     Who is Canaan Baptist Church?                         

 We are a multi-generational, Word and Christ-centered family of faith, established to glorify God. We are affectionately known as, "The Gem of Germantown" but we also minister far beyond these borders. Please visit our church located in Germantown, PA!

What is the worship experience like at Canaan?          

 Each worship experience at Canaan is dynamic and unique, providing a welcoming and           engaging environment for people of all ages and walks of life to experience the transforming           power of God’s Word and presence. What about my kids?

The Children’s Ministry serves children ages 4 to 12 providing worship and teaching of the Word of God with multi-media resources in a safe, stimulating environment that encourages interaction and prepares children for a lifetime of learning and growth. Teen Ministry serves teens from ages 13 to 18, providing worship and teaching of the word of God with multi-media.

How early should I get there?

The worship experience begins promptly at 9:15 a.m., so we encourage you to arrive by                 8:50 a.m. to secure parking.

               Does Canaan offer parking?

Canaan has arranged for parking at the Mastery School, 5700 Wayne Avenue Philadelphia, Pa 19144, less than two blocks from the church. You may access the parking lot from Wayne or Pulaski Avenue and a shuttle bus will transport you from the parking lot to the church. Please be aware that the Shuttle bus stops running at approximately 10:15 am so try to be early.
