CBC Scholarship Ministry

Overview:

For many years, the Scholarship Ministry has assisted our students in preparing for college through various workshops, seminars, and mentoring.  Programs have included college tours, SAT workshops, and general networking opportunities with current college students as well as their peers.  For graduating high school seniors, we provide financial support (scholarships), we also recognize all other graduates, both collegiate and post-collegiate.

Qualifications:

Recipients for the Canaan Scholarship must be members of the church, have participated in a ministry, and have been accepted into a four-year institution.

In 2019, the Scholarship Ministry introduced the Community Award.  It is presented to a non-Canaan member either living or attending school in the 19144 zip code area, who is a graduating high-school senior and has been accepted into a four-year institution.
